11. Cancellation & refund policy
All pricing in CHF. Cancellations follow strict notice windows aligned with Swiss consumer fairness:
Clients: minimum 24 hours notice before scheduled pickup.
Partners (B2B): minimum 12 hours notice before scheduled pickup.
Drivers: same-day cancellations require prior contact with admin (+41 79 968 06 60) and supporting reason.
Admin (info@easy-transfers.ch): full override at any time.
Refund rule: cancellations within the protected window without valid proof will not be refunded in full. A refund may be granted on a case-by-case basis upon submission of a verifiable proof (medical certificate, flight cancellation, force majeure document) via the dispute process (section 12).
No-show fee: if the client does not show up at the agreed pickup point and the driver waits the full SLA window, a no-show fee applies (CHF 50–200 depending on service tier).
Refunds are processed in 5–7 business days to the original payment method (Stripe).
12. Disputes & appeals
If you believe a charge or decision is unfair, you may open a dispute. The flow is transparent and admin-mediated:
Open a dispute via info@easy-transfers.ch or the API endpoint dispute.open, stating booking reference, dispute type, and reason.
Submit proof (medical certificate, photo evidence, flight cancellation document, official correspondence). Disputes without proof default to no-refund.
Admin review: the EasyTransfer Transport® admin reviews evidence within 5 business days.
Decision: approved (with refund amount) or denied. Notified by email with rationale.
Resolution: refunds processed to original payment method. Denied claims may be escalated to consumer mediation per Swiss procedures.
Data retained for disputes: report text, photo URLs, decision history, admin notes — for 7 years per Swiss accounting/auditability obligations.
13. Vehicle rules & damages
To preserve the premium experience for all guests and the safety of drivers, the following rules apply during transfers:
No smoking — including e-cigarettes & vaping. Cleaning + odour removal fee CHF 200–600.
No alcohol consumption onboard — sealed bottles for transport only are acceptable. Open container violation: CHF 150–500.
No soiling — food spills, vomit, rubbish. Cleaning fee scales with severity (CHF 50–600).
Damages — voluntary or involuntary damage to upholstery, interior, or exterior is invoiced to the client (or partner where applicable). Photo-documented and inspected before charge. CHF 80–5000 depending on extent. Severe vandalism triggers police report and insurance claim.
Mutual respect — if the driver feels unsafe, pressured, or witnesses abnormal behaviour, the trip may be terminated immediately at the discretion of the driver. No refund applies in such cases. Driver authority is final on safety matters.
Children — baby seats (0–12 m), child seats (1–3 y) and booster seats (4–7 y / under 125 cm) are mandatory by Swiss law. EasyTransfer Transport® provides them free of charge on request with at least 12 hours advance notice. Failure to inform of child passengers may result in same-day cancellation without refund.
Lost items — we deliver retrieved items within 50 km of route at a service fee (CHF 20–80).
Charges for incidents are reviewed by admin and notified to the responsible party with photo evidence and incident report. Disputes follow section 12.
14. Insurance & liability
EasyTransfer Transport® carries professional insurance covering passenger transport and civil liability in line with Swiss Federal Road Traffic Act (LCR/SVG) and EU directives:
Passenger insurance — passengers are insured during the entire journey for medical assistance, repatriation, and accident-related claims, per Swiss minimums and EU equivalents.
Civil liability (RC) — full coverage for property damage and bodily injury caused to third parties, mandatory under Swiss law.
Cross-border — coverage extends across the Schengen zone (CH, FR, DE, IT, AT, etc.). Vehicles carry Green Card / European Accident Statement (Constat amiable).
Drivers — licensed, insured, and trained per Swiss professional driver requirements (chauffage de personnes).
In the event of an accident or claim, the driver will document the incident and contact the client immediately. EasyTransfer Transport®'s insurance handles claims processing per applicable jurisdiction. Insurance details and policy numbers are available on request to info@easy-transfers.ch.
